Cadence is a fast-growing group of café and activities hubs serving the booming, outdoor- loving cycling community. Cadence was conceived by avid cyclists who saw an opportunity to provide a unique mix of services to this distinct and thriving customer base. Sited at key points on the South East’s most popular cycling routes, including the beautiful South Downs Way, our Cadence Hubs offer cyclists and hikers the perfect rest stop and a chance to connect with like-minded people - all while enjoying our great coffee and mouth- watering menu.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about combining fresh air and great customer experience, are comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, busy environment and have great organisation and time-keeping skills.
We have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic people with personality, drive and previous experience of providing first-class customer service. If you are self-motivated, have great interpersonal skills and experience in the food and beverage industry, this is a real opportunity to become a valued member of our growing team.
What we are looking for
Confident, friendly and outgoing character
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to outstanding customer service
Maintaining presentation and service areas to Hub standards
Ensuring excellent presentation of served food and drinks
Operating the coffee machine, blender and other café equipment
Commitment to safety requirements and food hygiene regulations
Helping with simple food preparation
Ensuring high standards of personal appearance and hygiene
Contribution to the Hub’s Social Media content
Requirements
Previous food & beverage customer service experience
Previous barista experience is desirable
Current First Aid & Food Hygiene certificates are a bonus
Own transport is essential (some of our locations are a bit off the beaten track!) Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays

CADENCE LITLINGTON - Church Farm, The St, Litlington, Polegate BN26 5RA
Nestled in the beautiful Cuckmere Valley, Church Farm is within easy reach from Eastbourne, Polegate, Seaford and the surrounding areas. Our first ever hub, Cadence Litlington provides the perfect stop-off for access to road, trail and mountain bike routes, through stunning countryside, riverside and forests. What’s more, with the Cadence e-bike rental centre, and being just a short ride from the spectacular Cuckmere Haven and the iconic Seven Sisters Country Park, it offers unmissable opportunities for exploring some of the most celebrated landscapes of southern England.
