Position Summary
The Nespresso team are recruiting for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team where you will be responsible for the day-to-day support of ERP (Nessoft) to ensure business continuity and operational efficiencies. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong ability to identify, analyse and solve problems as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively. The role will involve budget and compliance management, and project planning.

A day in the life of an IT Support Specialist …
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day support of Nessoft:
- Identifying hardware and software solutions
- Troubleshooting technical issues - Speaking to colleagues to quickly get to the root of their problem
- Ensure that IT applications documentation is kept up to date and in line with best practices from HQ and Local IT team
- Ensure that local IS roadmap is communicated effectively to the team and work cross-functionally to align activities to business teams
- Ensure operational efficiency
- Support the Applications Team in achieving operational efficiency through regular alignment meetings and deadline setting
- Work cross-functionally to ensure continuous improvement
- Manage system outages and changes effectively to ensure minimal impact on the business
- Compliance, security and internal controls
- Support IT Manager in compliance activities (CTA, Cloud, ICSAT, GDPR, PCI), ensuring a high level of compliance within the market, aligned with HQ.
- Support IT Manager in delivering a robust security policy for the business.
- Take the lead in the internal controls process, working closely with Internal Controller to ensure robust controls are in place for all Nespresso applications.
- Lead the Applications Team in creating Standard Routines (SRs) for all internal control processes.
- Support IT Manager in managing audit requirements.
- Drive security awareness within the business to cover data security and processes
- Technical management of short-term IT and business projects
- Testing process owner (MAT)
- IT asset management
- Responsible for external integrations
What will make you successful?
The successful candidate will have solid prior experience in IT and will have the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, software and servers
- Ideally you will have Network certification and PRINCE2 foundation
- E-commerce knowledge is a plus
- Experience working for retail brand is a plus
- Good understanding of compliance (GDPR, PCI, Sensitive Data, Information Security)
- Stakeholder management experience in a matrix organisation
- Great facilitation skills around issues / conflict resolution in a cross-functional
- Experience of project management/project planning
