Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s European Privacy and Cybersecurity team is looking for a 4th-6th year associate to join in our London office. Hybrid and fully-remote arrangements are also available for the right candidates.
The Wilson Sonsini Privacy and Cybersecurity practice deals with complex data protection and cybersecurity issues for leading and innovative companies around the world. Our highly experienced team advises clients of all sizes across a wide range of sectors including the financial industry, high tech and life sciences, the Internet of things, social networks, connected mobility and biotechnologies. Our team works in a highly motivating and challenging environment on exciting, cutting-edge development and expansion projects involving all aspects of UK and EU privacy and data protection law. We regularly represent clients in high-stakes investigations brought by data protection regulators in the UK, the European Union, the U.S. and around the world. We advise clients on GDPR and UK GDPR compliance projects, international data transfers strategies, data breaches and cybersecurity incidents, corporate transactional privacy, contract negotiation, litigation before national courts and the European Court of Justice.
Qualifications

4th-6th years’ post-qualification experience. An additional EU qualification is a plus.

A strong focus and professional experience in data protection and cyber security law.

Superior academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with technology industries, government regulation and technology, and data protection regulators’ policy and enforcement regarding data protection and cyber security issues is desirable.

Familiarity with computer programming, network technologies, database design, and web technologies is strongly preferred.

Entrepreneurial, team player, enthusiastic and proactive.
