Nursing Associate – Nursery Nurse (Neonates)

Saturdays and nights £15.92 per hour
Sundays and bank holidays £19.60 per hour
West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS trust are currently seeking a Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate to join their Neonatal team at Watford General Hospital. This role will be ongoing with a shift pattern that will be covering both days and nights, week days and weekends on rotation.

About the Trust
West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides acute hospital-based and specialist healthcare services to around half a million people living in Hertfordshire, north London and further afield. What you’ll be responsible for
· Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of professional conduct (NMC, 2018) as well as the Trust Policies Procedures and Guidelines.
- Under leadership and direction of the Registered Nurse ensure that all patients have appropriate individualised, clinical assessments.
· Communicate effectively and work in partnership with patients, their relatives/carers,
nursing colleagues and members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure care is delivered in an accurate and efficient manner.
· Support the Nurse in charge(NIC)/Ward Manager to maintain/improve and
develop high standards of patient care, and thereby ensuring that the patients are treated with privacy, dignity and respect.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Nursing Associate working on a Neonatal unit within the last 3 years
· Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
· Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
