A day in the life of…
We are looking for a Painter and Decorator on a 6-month fixed term contract to assist with the repainting and updating of our grade 2 listed building. The focus will be on internal painting of our guest rooms and public areas, giving them a fresh new lease of life for all our guests to enjoy. Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, painting and decorating will be your trade, passion and something that really interests you. You will also be a clean and efficient worker considering our guests throughout.
Hotel Indigo, Durham located in the heart of the Historic city of Durham, the hotel mixes old with new in our Grade 2 listed building, within easy walking distance of the prime cultural, business and shopping districts. This boutique style hotel includes 83 uniquely designed guest rooms. Our hotel restaurant (Marco Pierre Whites) offers relaxed, simple dining alongside local craft beers and eclectic cocktails. Our Neighbourhood Coffeeshop offers guests and the public a sanctuary to catch up on emails, read a book or meet friends for a catch up. Our Council Room gives guests the opportunity to dine privately, run conferences or celebrate their special day with us, holding weddings for up to 60 guests.
