5 hours every Sunday 11-4.30 with 30 minute break
Nature and Scope:
The role of the World Rugby Museum’s Weekend Receptionist is to ensure the effective management of the World Rugby Museum’s reception services in the Rugby Store, whilst resolving any other issues which may arise over the course of a weekend. This role is required to provide a professional reception service and ensure all visitors have a positive experience.
Accountabilities:
- The efficient operation and delivery of the Museum / Rugby Store reception service to agreed performance targets and standards.
- Assisting with the cashing up as required.
- Managing the operation of the joint Museum / Rugby Store reception in accordance with agreed objectives and performance targets.
- All aspects of quality assurance in the provision of the service to visitors (in relation to the Museum, Twickenham Stadium Tours and Rugby Store) ensuring that customers are fully satisfied with the service they have received, resolving any difficulties quickly, efficiently and effectively.
- Opening and closing Museum and ensuring tour route is open and available through consultation with Stadium Department and Twickenham Experience Ltd (TEL) staff.
- Ensuring that the reception area and Rugby Store are presentable and maintained, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
- Providing assistance as required by the Museum Curator, to undertake any other necessary duties.
- To undertake such duties as maybe required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the RFU.
- Maintaining good communication with other Museum members of staff and Stadium Tour Guides so as to facilitate the smooth running of the facility. Filling in daily contact logs.
- To ensure that any person covering duties is sufficiently aware of all possible procedures.
- Ensuring that all end of day procedures are completed before departure.
