Full Time (40 hours)
Salary: £25,674 to £28,568 per annum depending on experience (inclusive of unsociable hours)- pay award pending.
Emmanuel College is seeking to appoint motivated person with excellent customer service skills to join a busy team within the Porters Lodge.
The Porters Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is the first point of contact for many guests and visitors alike. The Gate Porters are responsible for security, fire safety, dealing with enquiries by telephone, in person, by e-mail and by both internal and external post. The successful applicant will have the ability to manage a varied workload, demonstrate excellent customer service and IT skills and demonstrate a calm, professional and courteous manner at all times.
The current shift pattern consists of day, evening and night shifts averaging out at 40 hours per week. Overtime may be necessary to cover periods of holiday, training and sickness and is paid at enhanced rates.
