Job Description
Accountable for:
- Providing the operational support back of house that enable the smooth running of our Hereford based coffee shops
- Head of operations at events or out in the field when required
- Conducting operational duties in line with the Company’s systems and procedures
- The safe transportation, handling and security of company equipment and stock
- Maintaining the high standards of presentation and service of the Coffee Cart Company in a public facing role
Main duties & activities:
The job role will require lone working, with the opportunity, due to the seasonality of the business, to step up and lead a team in assisting you in certain tasks when projects so require.
Hereford Logistical Support:
- Picking and delivering company stock and equipment to our outlets in accordance with company procedures
- Assisting the Management Team with the daily operational requirements at our depot and coffee bar outlets
- Loading/unloading stock, furniture and equipment on/off company vehicles and bars
Depot/ Warehouse Support:
- Maintenance repair and upkeep of equipment and vehicles.
- Receiving and booking in deliveries
- Maintaining an efficient and clean workplace
- Warehouse duties involving all aspects of stock management and logistics.
Events Logistical Support:
- Setting up and dismantling coffee bar equipment in adherence to Company operational systems and procedures
- All operational activity generated during the trading days at an event to include but not exclusive of:
picking and loading Event support vehicles prior to an Event
preparation of trailers and support vehicles for forthcoming Event
transportation of staff, stock and equipment to and from an Event
post-event breakdown and transportation from an Event

- Be a committed enthusiastic team player that enjoys taking the lead
- Be able to work in a methodical and organised way, following rules and procedures.
- Comfortable with Manual Handling
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment, but with care and attention to detail.
- Practical ‘hands on’ approach, promoting a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well presented.

- driving 3.5 tonne vehicle: 1 year (preferred)
- team leader: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Clean driving licence (required)
- forklift licence (preferred)
