Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Duty Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client’s site in Site Based at Newcastle Railway Station, with duty travel required to other sites within the North.
Working closely with the Cleaning Area Manager and LNER, you will lead by example operationally for your Location in ensuring that your team are delivering the highest possible standards, in line with key stakeholders’ expectations. Living LNER visions, values and behaviours, you will ensure that you put the heart into everyone’s journey.
Key Responsibilities:

You will have full accountability for the implementation and delivery of the client’s cleaning specifications and its services in your location.

You will have responsibility and accountability for all financial overtime and stock control within your location.

Ensure all training requirements are in place and that staff are suitably trained to undertake their role and fulfil their responsibilities.

You will lead in the Supervision of the client’s contract, ensuring services meet the requirements of interface with the clients, service providers and stakeholders, to ensure the expectations are being met and any additional services can be supported.

Maintain and deliver high standards of H&S, service quality, time management and cost control.

Ensure all targets set by both the Cleaning Area Manager & LNER on service delivery as well as operational performance of direct reports are met.

Sharing strategy for set goals and best practice with fellow Duty Managers and key stakeholders to develop working relationships and improve upon service delivery.

Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide an effective service for your team, travellers and LNER

Consistently deliver the highest standard of cleanliness and effective leadership

Support train and develop the operatives in your region encouraging a positive and successful work environment.
About You:
-
A proven track record in cleaning service delivery.
-
Experience in implementing, reviewing, and achieving the standard for safety, quality, time and cost and managing a team.

Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and build credibility with employees.
-
Excellent diplomacy skills combined with the confidence and resilience to handle potential conflict situations.
