Brief Description of the Role:
Born in Bradford (BiB) have an exciting opportunity for two Research Fellows to come and work with us on our ground breaking research programme: Born in Bradford Age of Wonder.
BiB is an internationally acclaimed applied research programme that aims to achieve a healthier, fairer future for children living in the vibrant, ethnically diverse but deprived city of Bradford. BiB is a partnership of the Bradford Institute for Health Research and the Universities of York, Leeds, Bradford and Sheffield.
The first BiB cohort includes 12,500 children who are now entering adolescence, a critical period that will shape their life-long physical and mental health as well as their social mobility and opportunities. With funding from the Wellcome Trust, Age of Wonder willfollow 30,000 young people (including the original BiB cohort and their peers) until age 21 to better understand how to keep young people healthy and happy, to improve opportunities and to reduce health inequalities.
