In order to deliver this ambitious strategic transformation programme we are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic procurement professional to join the existing Procurement team.

Assistant Procurement Officer - Ref: SS02222
Salary - G7: £29,439 - £33,820 per annum
You will act as a key delivery agent for provision of effective and efficient specialist procurement advice, project management and lead the delivery of compliant procurement processes.
Through the provision of sound advice and delivery of innovative procurement solutions you will enable the Council to reduce waste, maximise efficiency, and achieve best value in procurement ensuring compliance with UK procurement legislation, procurement policies and procedures.
The Council will support you in gaining CIPS Level 4 Diploma through an apprenticeship programme.
