Job Description
Manchester-based IoT (telematics) device manufacturer seek an intelligent and focused individual to drive sales of our IoT devices & data SIM services in the UK and beyond. Based at our office in Trafford Park, the role is suited to an individual with a technical background and some experience in sales. We anticipate that the role will be mostly office-based, with occasional UK travel and possibly some international travel. Successful applicants will be based within easy commutuing distance of Manchester, and will be responsible for helping to define and implement our sales strategy, seeking new clients and business opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
Self-starter
Technical background, either an academic qualification or vocational experience
Experience in a B2B Sales role, ideally in the telematics or automotive sectors
Excellent organisation skills
High level of IT competence
Confidence to define new strategies, processes and procedures
Responsibilities:
Proactive account management, managing and developing our relationship with existing clients
Prospecting potential new clients and managing the onboarding process
Development of our MVNO (data SIM) business
Identification of new routes to market and other opportunities to drive our sales
Helping to define our future roadmap of products and services
We are offering a modest basic salary + a generous bonus (and/or commission) for achievement of sales targets, which are to be agreed.
