Job Title: Process Improvement Leader
Reporting to: Production Manager

We are growing company, owned by a longstanding family business, which, manufactures World Class hop products and sells hops to the best brewers in Europe as well as the large multinational brewers. We’ve put together a close-knit team of professionals from the brewing industry and beyond that provide a great service in all areas and now we need an excellent Process Improvement Leader to support our Business. We have a great team and are looking for someone who wants to work as part of this team and have a passion for our products.

We want you to have a passion for process improvement and to have a sound knowledge of six sigma and lean manufacturing methods. You will be able to demonstrate your experience within manufacturing environments, and how you enabled new processes or implemented significant business change.
The Role
A diverse role which will allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and your professionalism. You will be focussing on:
· Developing knowledge of company process and be a process technical expert providing frontline support to production.
· Leading the implementation and commissioning of new production lines.
· Leading structured and targeted projects utilising Six Sigma, Lean and Continuous Improvement tools to demonstrate savings and tangible improvements.
· For targeted processes, developing supporting documentation, SOP’s, basic maintenance schedules and deliver associated training programmes.
· Collaborating with Equipment manufacturers/ designers to define the needs for specification or layout of plant.
The Skills You’ll Need
We would prefer experience of working within a manufacturing arena, preferably pharma, chemical or food environments. We need you to possess confidence & gravitas to enable you to lead projects and negotiate on behalf of the business.
You should be numerate and able to assess the financial impact of complex projects, have competent IT skills and able to design process workflows.
Finally, experience of extractions, separations, distillations, filtration and blending of natural products would be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
