Our client, a leader in 5G RF planning and optimisation, is looking for Senior RAN Engineers to join its Engineering Division. They are looking for a goal-oriented and driven RF engineers with relevant experiences in RAN design, planning, and optimisation.
We are looking specifically for candidates that would be happy working on 3 or 6-month contracts (with possible extension) and ideally have some Airspan experience.
Job Description:
Perform Wireless RAN including Neutral host DAS systems design and optimization using:
- Network parameters and thresholds
- Network KPIs and counters
- Proper understanding of RF propagation theory, implementation
- Antenna Theory , Antenna types, specs, models
- Conduct Small Cells design and optimization
- Conduct HetNet Systems design and optimization
- Perform UMTS, LTE and 5G network design and optimization
- Perform design and optimization
Requirements:
- Must possess IBwave Certification Level 3
- Deliver on several projects at a time
- Interact with clients for project specs, SOW and deliverables
- Prepare and present results of design and optimization to clients using PPT
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Eight years of progressive experience as Senior RF Engineer or related positions, including 3 years experience performing DAS design/performance optimization/model tuning/CW Collection/statistical analysis & processing, at least 3 years experience with 5G
- Open RAN experience
Having knowledge and experience of the following tools is a bonus:
- Atoll Design of LTE/5GNR
- MapInfo GIS tool or similar
- Experience with Airspan, Nokia and Ericsson desired.
