Operations Manager - Thetford
Responsible for directing the activities associated with the outbase operations to ensure the effective management of the operation

Customer contact – support localisation working with local RSM and providing feedback to regarding any service issues
- Ensure the site runs within budget, and identify local opportunities for cost savings/efficiency gains

Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures & ensure Group H&S policy is implemented and adhered to on site – accident investigation as required / customer RA / driver briefs including company updates and guidance

Compliance management – AM/PM checks and paperwork, managing VC40s and local repair agents, vehicle downloads each Saturday morning, weekly vehicle cleaning schedules
- QC contact and tasks including probe calibration checks and site Audits

Frontline management of drivers to ensure required delivered service levels
- On the job training for new starters

Manage two-way communication cascade
- Driver absence and return to work management, point of contact for any potential performance, disciplinary or conduct matters

Daily communication with RDC planning team - route balancing feedback for the following day’s deliveries

Management of administration including: invoices and driver return to stores sheets; and accountability for the safe based within the depot

Route cover for unplanned absence and holidays
- Primary collection of stock from the RDC throughout the night if required (overspill/resource)

First on site each morning opening up the depot
