The Data Scientist – Enablement will be a key part of the Data Science Team, executing the data science strategy and working with multiple stakeholders, data sources and technologies to deliver data science solutions and support data utilisation across the business.
In this exciting new role, you will engage and collaborate with analytical users and communities across the business. Using your own extensive analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, you will work directly with business teams to identify opportunities, generate actionable insight, and reduce time to value realisation. Strong communication skills and cross functional working will be key.
You will have experience of project delivery and workflow within the end-to-end data science lifecycle. R/Python and SQL skills are essential alongside experience of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Applied experience of cleansing and enriching data to address data quality challenges would be expected, experience of model deployment using data science platforms and machine learning frameworks would also be advantageous.
You will be naturally inquisitive and passionate about discovering and unlocking value from data and be able to translate this passion to advocate best practice in analytics, statistics, and Data Science. Your role will be key to the democratisation of data and data science to enable business readiness for advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
This will require working directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to build relationships prioritise needs and manage dependencies so experience of working across programme and BAU activities would be advantageous.

This is a hybrid role, with the ability and scope to work flexibly between our city centre offices and home.
