Would you like to work in an environment where you can harness your passion for safety engineering and defence, whilst developing your skills and experience? If so, we can support you on your journey to hone your safety skills, whilst providing you access to world-class training and a supportive culture.
As one of our Marine Safety Engineers, you will join a highly skilled and motivated team whose work covers the whole portfolio of Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary warships. You’ll provide safety support to specific project teams throughout the equipment and platform acquisition lifecycle, which may span requirement setting in the concept phase, input to ‘safe by design’ decisions, through to in-service support of our current platforms and their eventual disposal. You will have the chance to join a community of interest with like-minded individuals, whilst supporting vessels such as the Type 45 Destroyers and Type 26 Frigates and the Royal Navy’s exciting future ship concepts.
Please note, there may be domestic travel to UK dockyards and international travel required for these positions.
