23000 plus share of service

A peaceful four star hotel in Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire, the Bull Hotel offers 147 comfortable bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, and flexible event suites for all types of functions. Opened in 1688 as a coaching inn, the picturesque hotel combines warm British hospitality with modern comforts. Located in the countryside. The Bull is easily accessible by train or car.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is flexible with their working hours to join our team as our Operational Meetings and Events Supervisor. Β£600 REWARD - Join us and you can receive a Β£300 Welcome Payment in months 3 and 6 of Employment

Our Meeting and Events team provide our guests with a personalised conference or special events service. We are seeking a Meeting & Events Supervisor with experience of running meetings and special events including weddings.

As a Meeting & Events Supervisor you will have...

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor, ideally in a quality hotel with both corporate & leisure clients in Meeting and Events.
  • A passion for quality fresh food and knowledge of wines and beverages
  • An outgoing personality with excellent customer care skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and be able to resolve customer problems effectively
  • Lots of enthusiasm, a professional manner and not afraid to take on extra responsibility when needed
  • An excellent command of written & spoken English
  • Physical Ability to set up meeting and event rooms
  • Ability to work full time on a 5 day out of 7 rota with a mix of early shifts and late shifts including weekends.

What will I be doing as a Meeting & Events Supervisor?

  • Ensuring all allocated rooms for business meetings, special events and weddings are set as requested on time.
  • Supervising staff on duty and ensuring that all services are delivered as scheduled and our guests receive excellent service, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Meeting the key personnel at the beginning of each event and ensuring that every aspect of the day is checked and delivered.
  • Maintaining operating standards ensuring consistently high standards of service.
  • Liaising with the kitchen to ensure food service is timely and as ordered, taking care of special requests and guests with allergies.
  • Optimising time on the floor by carrying out one to one coaching & training to develop employee confidence in dealing with customers and selling hotel products and services.
  • Attending training & completing e-learning modules to improve your skills and aid your development
