Job Summary
As a junior SEO Executive, you will be responsible for the execution of on-page, off-page and technical optimisation strategies in line with Google's best practices and supported by an experienced and dedicated SEO Manager.
The ideal candidate will support the wider SEO team with the execution of campaigns and deliver exceptional service to our clients whilst focusing on driving qualified, relevant organic traffic to their websites. You will be a key member of the SEO team and an advocate for SEO amongst Tradectory.

- Data Analysis - dive deep into data by analysing behavioural trends, demographics, customer engagement and more to build bespoke SEO campaigns.
What you’ll be doing:
Client:
- Carrying out SEO audits and investigations to identify issues with client websites.
- Perform keyword research strategies to identify profitable keywords to target and capitalise on to further grow organic traffic.
- Perform tasks to help optimise the websites for organic growth such as keyword research, creating page title tags and meta descriptions.
- Writing briefs for well optimised copy.
- Implement local SEO strategies including citation building, Google My Business optimisation and local link-building.
- Carry out technical SEO activities such as crawling websites, identifying pages to redirect and issues which may lead to poor indexation of the site.
- Conduct outreach tasks such as link-building and identifying opportunities for clients to build their own links and improve their domain authority.
- Assist with website migrations to minimise the risk of organic traffic post launch.
- Analyse monthly reports to better understand the progress of clients SEO strategies.
Agency:
- Be a champion for SEO within the wider agency.
- Work collaboratively with the wider SEO team to brainstorm ideas and improvements to client strategies.
Personal:
- Keep current with changes in SEO and the search engine algorithms. Read industry publications, stay abreast of search engine announcements and develop an interest in an SEO specialism.
- Develop your understanding of how different marketing disciplines affect SEO success.
- Work on any areas of weakness in SEO to grow your skill set.
Skills & Experience
- 1 year or more experience in an SEO role, ideally in an agency.
- Experience implementing SEO work.
- Experience working with tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GTM and Majestic/Ahrefs/SEMRush.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to manage own time and juggle priorities.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of HTML a bonus.
