Trusty Pet Supplies is recruiting for a retail assistant for our busy pet superstore in Derby.
The role for Pet Shop Sales Assistant is on average 42.5 hours per week and is a permanent position. Hours will be between Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 5.30pm and Sunday 10am-2pm with a day off in the week and a 4 weekly Saturday/Sunday rota, with 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays off per month.
Previous retail experience is required as well as a friendly helpful attitude towards customers and fellow team members. Full training will be given.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be a key member of the Trusty Pet Supplies Team.
The Role:
Provide the best customer service and advice to pet owners.
Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well stocked at all times.
Assist with checking off and putting away deliveries, ensuring stock rotation is completed.
General day to day and housekeeping retail tasks.
Must be able to use your own initiative as well as work in part of a team.
