Due to recent investment into Mental Health services, We are launching a number of new developments across both our core CAMHS and our specialist CAMHS provision.
We are thrilled that the development of our core CAMHS provision means that we can offer a new opportunity for a Senior Support worker to join our CAMHS Team to support the needs of our children and young people.
The successful candidate will work directly with children and young people with mental health needs and their families by working independently within agreed guidelines. This will include carrying out interventions that have been assessed and agreed by the Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) with the aim of helping children participate in normal family and community activities.
To work with young people and where appropriate and necessary their families or care providers who present in Mental Health difficulties. To provide ongoing support, therapeutic interventions when agreed, practical assistance and problem resolution under the supervision of a senior team member. To support with supervision of young people and families to implement and review risk planning and engage in relevant support services.
