Waking Night Support Worker – Disabled children and adults - Southampton - £12,513.60 - 20 hours a week
We are The Rose Road Association a Registered Charity providing essential Care and support Services in Southampton. We are passionate about supporting children and adults with, Learning, disabilities, Physical disabilities and /or Autism. We are seeking to recruit a Great Support Worker, someone with the right values and attitudes to work in our Overnight Respite facility in Southampton – could this be you?
You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications as we are happy to work with you to develop your competence in the role and increase your confidence in the work that we do.

The children and adults we support are individuals and therefore no two days are the same, as a general guide, duties will include, support with all personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, feeding. To engage in activities of their choice, promote independence where possible, tending to any needs they may have during the night such as supporting service users with cpap machines/tube feeds/oxygen/seizures overnight for which training will be provided and general domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning.
