Job description
We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated database administrator to work alongside the wider team to facilitate the seamless day-to-day operations of our client/candidate database by maintaining, reviewing and sourcing data to enable growth in our core focus sectors. To facilitate this you will:
- Gain a full understanding of our complete CRM/ATS system and its key functionalities
- Ensure that data is clearly defined and remains consistent across the database to meet user requirements
- Manage and coordinate database security/integrity and back-up procedures
- Participate in projects to source and categorise new data to meet the requirements of the wider team
- Produce data reports as requested
- Grow client information through the use of other platforms / AI systems
- Audit data usage and ensure that all data is current and accurate
- Monitor system performance and identify problems that arise
- Supervise any modifications to existing database software and communicate these clearly to the team
- Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act
- Provide user training, support and feedback
- Act as a point of contact for all database queries
Person Specification
- Ideally you will have previous experience of database administration or within a similar role
- A good understanding of database architecture, software and database management systems
- Ability to self-manage and take ownership of tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work on longer-term projects alongside day-to-day tasks
- A good knowledge of data protection
Based in Harrogate this is a hybrid role with some aspects of home working. Full-time / part-time hours can be negotiated on request.

Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
