We are currently working with of the UK's largest banks on a large scale project to double their Software Engineering teams over the next 12-18 months for the London, Manchester, Bristol & Edinburgh offices.

The Role:

Using automations to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work.

Carry out developments to agreed success criteria aligned with the business needs.

Look for opportunities to use business systems across other functions in the business.

Follow Agile sprint methodology.

Conduct research from which you'll develop prototypes and proof of concepts.

Represent IT in development project meetings and take ownership of tasks.

Stay up to date with latest technology, techniques and methods.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Python Developer role will have relevant experience of:

Excellent trouble shooting skills.

Excellent knowledge of SQL & Python.

Excellent communication skills.
-
Full understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
-
Logically minded, liking to use data and evidence to support findings.

Task orientated, ability to work to fixed deadlines and SLAs.
