Receptionist / Administrator

Receptionist / Administrator | competitive salary plus excellent benefits | Spire Liverpool Hospital | Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week

Spire Liverpool Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist / Administrator to join our team on a Full Time basis. To act as a Spire ambassador, delivering a high quality patient experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

To work within the Allied Services Department providing administrative and reception services, liaising closely with the Imaging and Physiotherapy clinical staff.

  • Welcoming, registering, including the accurate collection of credit card details and patient information.
  • Communicating with patients, consultants and hospital teams as required in a warm, professional and caring manner and in such a way as to provide confidence.
  • Taking payment prior to imaging procedures for self-funding patients.
  • Cash handling strictly within the parameters of the ‘Handling Cash Policy'.
  • Discharge of patients onto computer system ensuring accuracy of all information.
  • Manage the departmental telephones in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.

Undertake various administrative duties as required including booking appointments, data collection, issuing of reports.

Who we're looking for

Essential

  • A personable individual with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Good basic PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High degree of accuracy in administration
  • Great communication skills at all levels
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience with information management systems
  • Switchboard experience desirable
