An opportunity has become available in Leicester for a Warehouse Operative (Nights), which will involve picking and transporting a wide range and variety of plastic materials within the warehouse. You will be loading customer orders and stock onto our company fleet ready for next day dispatch.
About the Role

Ensure orders and materials are accurately picked and packed to a ‘right first time’ standard

Pick & load completed orders onto company fleet

Support the flow of work between the warehouse & production

Carry out and adhere to stock rotation procedures
-
Complete all paperwork and ensure goods are labelled correctly

Carry out checks in line with the company quality control standards
-
Operate counterbalance or reach truck as set out by HSE
-
Adhere to company health & safety standards including best practice’s
-
Keep working areas clean and tidy at all times
-
May be required to shunt the vehicles in the yard as and when required
About You
-
Reach FLT licence is an essential requirement for the position (please note you will be required to provide evidence of any licence)

Counterbalance FLT, Driving Licence and HGV Shunting Licence would be highly advantageous, however not essential

Able to manually handle a wide range of products and materials of different sizes and weights
-
Able to work in a team as well as manage your own pick, pack and load deadlines
-
Have a flexible approach to work

Good communication skills and attention to detail
