Salary: From £45,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience

Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Harwell)

About the role:
The strategy and corporate services (S&CS) directorate provides shared services to the rest of Jisc. Our purpose is to help Jisc to sustain and transform the services delivered to members, and to sustain and transform the way Jisc runs itself.
Within S&CS, the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) supports strategic change initiatives across Jisc. The role will join a team of project managers who lead a range of software, infrastructure, and business change projects.
You will be expected to work on a variety of projects, ranging from internal IT system implementation / enhancements, product development, and complex business change as part of an internal transformation programme.
Responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating communication between project stakeholders and workstreams – including managing dependencies, monitoring progress, and chairing effective meetings
- Supporting project governance – including preparing all relevant documentation, managing risk, managing changes, managing stage gates, weekly and monthly reporting, decision logging, and budget tracking
- Providing leadership to the project and workstream teams – including providing clarity of responsibilities, objectives & deliverables, maintaining focus according to the project vision, and providing the environment to enable project success
- Driving project planning and forecasting, and alignment with project timelines and constraints. Working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that milestone plans and resource plans are maintained and up to date
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience leading project teams to deliver positive outcomes to time, budget and quality
- Demonstrable and proven experience of leading projects to integrate people, processes and systems
- Experience of acting as a senior team member, coaching and mentoring less experienced project managers
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including senior stakeholders
