ABP in Perth have excellent opportunities available to come and train as an Abattoir Operative. You will work alongside our skilled workers and learn how to do various jobs in the abattoir on a daily basis. We will also put you through your level 2 Modern Apprenticeship in Meat and Poultry Skills. This will take around12 to 18 months and thereafter we would like to progress your career with us.

You will learn how to be a fantastic Abattoir Operative learning the different jobs in this department alongside completing apprenticeship coursework from the training provider.

The apprenticeship takes around 12 to 18 months and is mainly practical work based where you learn the jobs and the assessor will come to assess your progress on a regular basis.
