We have two senior roles for SAP Functional Consultants, specialising within areas of the supply chain, that can drive change and improvement and deliver end-to-end solutions for our supply chain to help transform our business. These will be permanent roles enhancing our well-established supply chain team of SAP specialists, working in our newly refurbished Nottingham office as well as having the flexibility to work from home.
Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, so as a well-established yet fast-paced and expanding organisation, the key responsibility of this role will be to lead the change and evolve our supply chain processes. Never content on standing still, you’ll be joining the key powerhouse of the business that uses award-winning technologies in innovative ways, as part of valuable and transformational projects.
You’ll be enthusiastic, confident and engaging with a passion for seeking efficiencies and business process improvements, whilst being prepared to take risks and challenge the status quo. Taking a collaborative approach and working with key stakeholders across the business, you will be personable and have the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels and from a wide variety of backgrounds. You’ll bridge the gap between information technology and business professionals within the organisation, being integral to identifying business process improvements from analysis and collation of requirements, through to designing new solutions to key initiatives or process enhancements.
Advanced knowledge of SAP in the areas of Materials Management, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Logistics Execution and Sales and Distribution is essential to hit the ground running in these roles. Knowledge of Warehouse Management, pricing structures and foreign trade (both import and export) is also desirable.
You’ll need to have demonstrable experience of working on SAP project lifecycles, ideally within a similar industry and have the following qualifications and skills:
- SAP: ECC – Modules MM, WM, IM or SD, LE experience of implementing standard SAP processes including Configuration and Enhancement experience (Required)
- Other SAP knowledge: Foreign Trade, HANA, BI, PI, Mobile, IDocs, EDI, ALE, debugging (Desirable)
- ISEB Foundation Cert in Business Analysis; ISEB Foundation Certificate in Project Management: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- NVQ Level 3 Business Improvement Techniques; or Equivalent combination of education, professional accreditation and experience
