Come and be part of a progressive and dedicated team; EMSOU are looking to recruit a researcher on a 37 hours, Full- time, Permanent basis.
One of the largest collaborative units of its kind in the country, with over 1000 employees, the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) delivers specialist capabilities on behalf of the five forces - Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
EMSOU is made up of teams dealing with Counter Terrorism, Regional Organised Crime, Major Crime, Forensic Services, Legal Services and a Regional Review Unit.
We focus on intelligence gathering and the disruption and investigation of serious and organised crime.
You will support the Regional Intelligence Unit by assisting and enabling analytical processes to take place effectively, this will then inform and influence decisions allowing the effective deployment of operational resources.
You will comply with the strategic aims and objectives of the Regional Intelligence Unit with due regard to the control strategy, ROCU standards including OCGM processes within the East Midlands.
Vetting Requirements - Due to the nature of security checks required you must have 5 years continuous residency in the UK. Please note you must be prepared to be vetted to Enhanced Security Clearance.
