Night Care Assistant - Required at Heartlands Nursing Home, Birmingham B26, Part of the Country Court Family
Hours: Nights, 38.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 2000-0800 1st week 3 shifts, 2nd week 4 shifts)

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT (NIGHTS) ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Helping our residents with personal support and care

Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
-
Serving meals/drinks and assisted feeding
-
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
-
Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

Be no stranger to working night shifts

Able to engage well with the residents and their families

Have good written & verbal communication skills
-
Have an understanding of people with Dementia.

Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
-
Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
