The Role:
You will be based in the Marketing and Communications department of Coventry University Group, and will assist the Events and Communications Officers with the delivery of events and communications in support of the 2030 Group Strategy.
You will help organise the various components of a series of high-profile events, promoting the Group and enhancing its reputation with target audiences. Some events activity will not focus on hosting our own events but placing our speakers, collateral and strategic messaging within other high-profile events that connect with our target audiences.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills including communication skills, both verbal and written. The role is based in Coventry but this is a Group role so some travel may be required and some events will occur outside of normal working hours.
The Successful Applicant:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Ability to develop and sustain close working relationships within the marketing team and with external suppliers and partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Experience of dealing effectively and efficiently with queries and requests, as well as skills in relationship management, negotiation and persuasion.
