The International Office at Manchester Met is responsible for the recruitment and support of international students, overseas partnership development and student mobility programmes, driving the internationalisation strategy of the University.
The International Compliance team plays a crucial role in supporting the University's internationalisation agenda, by contributing to the increase in international student numbers on campus, through its daily operations, and maintaining licences with Government bodies. The team provide a wide-range of services and support to students, academic and professional services staff, which includes:
- ensuring the University is compliant with UKVI and US Department of Education rules and regulations.
- providing information and support that is relevant to a student during their stay in the UK;
- administration of scholarships and discounts;
- welcoming international students to the University;
This is fixed term until 31st July 2024

In recognition of staff contributions to the University's achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff. This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
