Manchester Magistrates Court handles low level criminal offences and is located in the heart of Manchester with access to great transport links.


We are looking to recruit a Security Officer to join our friendly security team to ensure site safety. This is a full-time role based at Manchester Magistrates Court working an average of 45.13 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays from 7am to 3pm.


To be successful for this role, you MUST have an SIA Door Supervisor badge to be able to progress to the next stage.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring safety of client’s staff; their building and assets.

  • Completing searches using hand wands; metal detector arches and x-ray equipment.

  • Maintaining secure environments with regular internal and external building patrols.

  • Car Park access control.

  • Monitoring CCTV.

  • Responding to /and dealing with emergency situations and completing incident reports.

  • Preparing Visitor passes.



The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Criteria:

  • SIA Door Supervisor Badge

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good written English
