About the role
As EMEA SDC Lead you will be representing Treliant to the client with responsibility for client success, delivering P&L targets, and supporting the Treliant consultants working for you. This is a very exciting time to be joining Treliant with the opportunity to make significant improvements and contribute to our hypergrowth journey. While the scope the project will change as the project evolves, your duties & responsibilities will include:
Be the Treliant Senior EMEA representative in terms of engagement with internal and external stakeholder bodies, e.g. clients, industry participants, etc.
Develop operational processes in the SDC, e.g. reporting lines and management structure, ensuring effective management reporting lines are in place
Assisting Treliant Sales and Practice Leads to close new opportunities and renewals. This includes assisting with proposals and responding to RFPs
Responsible for Invest NI coordination and POC
Be the face of the Treliant SDC to the client. Own the delivery relationships, ensuring Treliant consultants are performing to the required standard and taking proactive remedial action where necessary. Depending on project specifics, own the Senior Governance aspect from the Treliant side
Coordination of SDC operations, Facilities management across SDC Locations.
Work with wider Operations teams to make sure resourcing needs are understood and planned for in terms of team sizes and skillsets, including interviewing of candidates and decisions on ultimately hiring consultants
Act as a conduit across all Business Units within the organization, ensuring effective communication channels across units and locations
Share accountability with the Practice Leads for career development of staff within the SDC; ensure talent is developed based on known & expected needs, and ensure Treliant’s career management processes are followed for practice staff (with support from Treliant HR)
Ultimate point of escalation for all SDC staff issues, helping to ensure adequate pastoral care elements are in place
Work with Treliant Operations and HR to ensure staff adhere to company policies
Manage the SDC P&L through resource mix, pricing, and sizing any bench
Be a key driver in developing Treliant wider SDC strategy, with a particular focus on future locations and skillsets
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
Strong educational - Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
9 -12 years’ experience of working within Financial Services – Investment Banking, Global Markets or Financial Crime compliance
Experience of working in a similar role leading engagement
Desirables:
Excellent network of connections in the industry
Experience of running large-scale client engagements across multiple domains
Domain expertise in one of the following: Regulation, e.g., LIBOR/ Legal /KYC /Compliance / Risk/ IB Operations
Commercial awareness of business drivers behind Consulting services, especially in the financial environment
Experience in developing and mentoring junior staff
