Working in a busy student-facing environment, as a Student Adviser you will be providing information, advice and guidance to students on a range of areas from academic support to pastoral guidance. You will be able to work on several tasks concurrently, work to tight deadlines, and contribute to the identification and implementation of changes and enhancements to working practices. You will at times work with students who require wellbeing support. This will include providing them with practical support, and referring them to other specialist advisers.

An excellent communicator, you will be able to build up professional working relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies, and be confident in dealing with crisis situations. Experience in supporting people with mental health difficulties would be advantageous.
