We’re searching for a Data Engineer in London or Bristol to join our team of free thinkers and collaborators.
In this role, it will be your responsibility to develop, build and maintain edyn’s data infrastructure ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data and systems and pipelines, to aid in the edyn reporting stack and data workflows. Your role will include building and maintaining data pipelines for the extraction, transformation and storage of data, as well as the implementation and maintainenance of database storage solutions
A role less ordinary.
- Designing and implementing the entire end-to-end ETL process
- Working with large data sets (1-5 million records)
- Data extraction through API calls using C# and Python
- Development of Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Writing and invoking custom SQL stored procedures
- Fine-tuning existing SSIS packages and designing new per business requirement
- Setting up email alerts in Power Automate for notification of potential procedure failures
Who you are.
- Strong analytical background - BSC in Computer Science or an equivalent analytical/numerate subject
- Candidates without degree are welcome as long as they have proven extensive hands-on experience.
- Python/C# for interaction with Web Services (Rest and SOAP APIs)
- Some Development understanding of Data APIs
- Data Warehousing experience
- Azure or other cloud experience preferred (Azure Data Factory pipelines)
- Dynamics365 experience preferred
