A day in the life of…

As Hotel General Manager at the Hampton by Hilton Stansted your role will be to deliver strategic direction in a high volume environment within a highly competitive market. You will be an ambassador for the guest journey, ensuring brand values and service behaviours are delivered consistently in a professional and friendly environment. You will lead and develop a great team across all departments to achieve exceptional performance across the key indicators of profit, people and RGI.

Overall, your ability to create a culture of team engagement and service excellence will be key to this role along with your commercial acumen to support business growth.

Boasting 357 bedrooms, the Hampton by Hilton London Stansted has prime location, just a 5 minute walk from the Stansted Airport terminal. As such, this hotel has been a market leader since day 1. With exceptionally high occupancy levels and year on year growth, this hotel requires a strategic leader with a solid commercial understanding of the airport market.

What do we need from you?

It is essential that you have experience operating as a GM within a large-scale hotel operation in a complex environment. We will also be looking for experience working within an airport market and an understanding of the commerical impact this has on the business.

As a senior leader in the business, you will have a strategic mindset and the ability to drive vision and purpose. Your role will also include managing multiple stakeholders, therefore experience working closely with owners or in a 3rd party management model will be crucial to the success of this role.
