Job Title: Secondary Film Teacher Location: East London
We are seeking an exceptional and innovative Secondary Film Teacher to join our dynamic and forward-thinking school in East London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of the film industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and interactive lessons in line with the school curriculum, which are relevant to the students and the film industry

Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate film into other subjects and provide students with a well-rounded education

Mentor and guide students to develop their critical thinking skills and enable them to articulate their ideas effectively

Plan and lead after-school activities, such as film clubs and workshops, to encourage student engagement and creativity

Foster a positive learning environment that is inclusive and celebrates diversity

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and innovations in the film industry to bring a contemporary and relevant approach to teaching
Qualifications and Skills:

A bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Film Production, or a related field

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven experience in teaching film at a secondary level

Strong knowledge of the film industry and the ability to bring real-life examples into the classroom

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential

Creativity and enthusiasm in delivering lessons that are engaging, interactive, and relevant
