The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Editorial Executive to join Phacilitate to assist in the delivery of a rapidly developing content pipeline.
The Editorial Executive will contribute to the delivery of digital content, contributing to regular industry resource publishing, commissioning insights from key opinion leaders and assisting on different initiatives and campaigns from across the Phacilitate portfolio from an editorial perspective.
The Editorial Executive will also work to deliver sponsored content in a variety of different formats and in line with a busy content calendar, working with clients to deliver content tailored to their marketing goals and target customer personas.
Reporting into the Editor / Head of Digital, this role will be integral to the development and growth of Phacilitate’s editorial content strategy, as well as the brand and portfolio itself.

Responsibilities
- Content commissioning, curation and development for Phacilitate Insights and Resources, including news stories, interviews and special features including infographics, eBooks and webinars
- Continued SEO optimization for content, in line with the wider SEO strategy
- Assist in publishing news alongside the news publishing strategy, ensuring a steady flow of high-impact news
- Deliver client-sponsored content in line with a busy editorial calendar, assisting clients with molding briefs to align with the customer playbook, managing timelines and monitoring performance
- Manage content within the weekly newsletter, ghost-writing for other team members where appropriate, and liaising with the marketing team to keep track of high-performing subject lines and content trends, adjusting copy and delivery accordingly
- Independently attend and report from Phacilitate and industry events, interviewing KOLs for organic content and sponsored opportunities
- Assist with the on-site content creation and delivery strategy for Phacilitate-hosted events, liaising with the marketing team to deliver published content to agreed timelines
- Assist with weekly internal analytics updates to keep wider team up-to-date with content delivery and key marketing campaigns
- Support the wider digital and marketing teams with ad-hoc content marketing campaigns across the portfolio, including commercial projects, partnerships and events
- Support marketing roles with social copy writing for content
- Support the wider digital and marketing teams with ad-hoc proofing and copy writing
- Take a leading role in the micro-influencer strategy, bolstering embedded presence within the advanced therapies industry, and utilizing a variety of social channels to promote self-authored content

- You will also be creating and delivering content that aligns with the Customer Value Journey as per each product and persona, ensuring each campaign is delivering on set KPIs
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Has a life sciences degree with an interest in the biotech sector
- Has a strong interest in science communication – may have experience (paid or voluntary) or qualifications in scientific publishing, journalism, scientific writing, agency work or similar
- Enjoys writing with skill, accuracy and attention to detail and relishes the opportunity for personal/professional development in this area
