The Sunflower Suite at Queens Hospital BHRUT requires an enthusiastic,highly motivated Senior sister with an interest in Haematology and Oncology to join our team and provide excellent clinical leadership.Duties would involve co ordinating activity within Sunflower Suite,sickness and absence management,retention and recruitment of staff members and ensuring quality and safety.This is a part time post consisting of 18 hours.
The successful candidate would be required to work over 2-3 days,to include a Wednesday working day.BHRUT is a large cross-site organisation encompassing both Queens Hospital in Romford and King George Hospital in Ilford.The Sunflower Suite is open Monday-Friday 08.00-20.00 and Saturday 09.00-17.00,treating both malignant and non malignant Haematology and Oncology patients.The postholder will require an Adult NMC registration and proven experience at band 6 level encompassing ward/acute nursing experience.And be competent in the administration of Systemic anti cancer treatment.The sucessful candidate would need to demonstrate the Trusts PRIDE behaviours and assist in achieving the Trusts objectives.

More than half of our 7,500 strong workforce are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and most live in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge. We also provide healthcare services to people in south west Essex, and specialist neurosciences services to the whole of the county.
Our services include all the major specialties of large acute hospitals, operating from two main sites - King George Hospital in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford. We also provide outpatient services at Brentwood Community Hospital, Barking Hospital, Loxford Polyclinic and Harold Wood Polyclinic.
