As a Patient Safety and Experience Officer you will support implementation of the current professional and governance frameworks for homecare providers. Working with the senior Governance Team to implement a consistent and aligned approach to complaints and incidents, patient safety, and governance. You will also work with the Clinical Governance and Patient Experience manager to represent the voice of the patient for LPCH, driving daily improvements in patient experience and managing the end to end incident and complaints management system and supporting processes. You will have the responsibility to manage your own workload, provide regular status updates and work towards specific KPI's and targets. This role is a hybrid working model with the flexibility of working from home and in the office.

To be successful within this role you will have excellent planning, admin and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to respond to changing demands. You will have the ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential and potentially distressing information as well as adhering to data protection requirements. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive and willing to learn and happy to work in a team environment. With a focus on communication both written and verbal you will need good comprehension skills and be able to tailor your communication to your recipient. The role can be varied so the ability to adapt and learn quickly, as well as to take initiative would be a positive for this role.
