Management Accounts Assistant | Medway | Up to £25K
Our client who is working within the construction type industry is looking to recruit a Management Accounts Assistant to join their busy team in the Medway area. This role offers Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home after your probation period, initially you will be required to be in the office 4 out of 5 days. You will work a 37.5 hour week (9am – 5pm with 30 minute lunch).
The purpose of this role is to support the finance function with the following:-
· Produce timely and accurate monthly Management Accounts support.
· To assist in balance sheet control for all areas of responsibility.
· Processing and control of agency invoices for temporary staff.
· Monitoring orders and invoicing of materials, utilities and logistics.
· Completion of government and bank statistics.
· Collate sustainability data for reporting.
· Office H&S Representative.
· To act in accordance with Company Accounting Policies and ensure accuracy of all information.
You will be required to have
· Ideally you will be AAT studying
· Experience working within an Accounting focussed position
· Good Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups
· Good organisational skills with the ability to meet fixed deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
