Job Role: Production Manager
Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000

2fawcett are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join a manufacturing business in Nottingham. You will be responsible for the day-to-day general management of the manufacturing facilities and a real focus on continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
* Accountability for the efficiency of the shift, completing regular updates and reporting back to the Operations Manager any operating issues with corrective actions
* Providing leadership for the shift operations in a highly efficient manner
* Carrying out any pre-shift updates/priorities with all employees, highlighting any issues from the previous day and any known actions/visits for the current day
* Maximising the performance of the operation by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities with support from Operations Manager
* Providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing against customer requirements and operational performance
* Successfully managing the team in line with company's operating systems and all other policies and procedures
* Acting in accordance with all Health and Safety regulations and to ensure that all employees allocated to your shift also fully comply with all H&S regulations, ensuring all PPE is worn
* Conduct a daily H&S walk round actioning any non-conformances accordingly
Skills & Experience
* Well experienced within a fast-paced manufacturing facility
* Assertive in managing a mixed workforce
* Effective communicator with a passion for motivating and developing a production team
* Proven background within Production Management
* Great interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example
* Strong influential skills with the ability to engage employees
* Self-motivated and a key driver for quality and performance
* Experience of working within the quality requirements of ISO9001, and assist with the implementation and compliance with the Health and Safety standard ISO45001 standard would be advantageous
* Good analytical and reporting skills
