Title: Health Care Assistant
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £ 21,318 pro rata per annum plus enhancements.
Annual Leave Entitlement will take into account previous years of service under Agenda for Change terms and conditions
Marie Curie Clinical terms and conditions in 2023. These will align with some of the core terms and conditions of the NHS (Agenda for Change contracts). This will include new high-cost area supplement where applicable and unsocial hours enhancements.
Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per week

What we are looking for:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our team in Ceredigion. You will deliver care and support to patients with a terminal diagnosis in the last days of life whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.
With experience of End-of-Life care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. Ours is a one-to-one approach to care, so you're sure to enjoy plenty of meaningful contact with patients and their families - usually in their own homes. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
