We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Sales Advisor to join our team at Jewson Sheerness (ME12 1QE)!
Part Time 23.5 hours per week
This is an essential role within the branch network, you will build relationships with customers and understand their wider requirements in order to maximise sales growth. You will be in regular contact with our customers and therefore you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience.
We’re a busy and well established branch in Kent with a friendly team and we pride ourselves on offering a great service and excellent product knowledge. We have a sales office, warehouse, shop & counter, timber supply and customer delivery vehicles. What will I be doing?
As a Customer Sales Advisor, your role will be essential to keeping our branch running smoothly. From serving our customers at the trade counter and yard to processing customer orders, and from monitoring stock to growing our sales, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson.
- Assisting and advising customers on the shop floor, trade counter and in the yard
- Get to know our products and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions
- Process and prepare customer orders using our in-house systems
- Build relationships with customers both face to face and over the phone
- Maintain stock levels in branch and carry out regular stock counts
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
