Job Title: CAD Operator
Location: Midlands
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE
Our client is one of the leading signage companies within the Midlands. They have gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months, and due to this continued success, they are looking to add an experienced CAD Operator to their team. You will be working within an established team to produce high end signage and graphic displays.
The CAD Operator;
- Experience in a Pre-Press environment and knowledge of signage, print and graphics
- You will have experience in using CAD software – 3yrs minimum
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator
- Ability to effectively read CAD structural drawings
- Manipulating and amending artwork prior to print
- A creative flair with a keen eye for detail
- Working well within a group environment as well as autonomously
- A fantastic communicator across all levels
The Position;
- You will effectively read structural CAD drawings for various solutions including manufactured signage on large retail roll outs, bespoke signage, graphics and POS units. Using software such as ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite to ensure that artwork and designs are to spec, before being sent to presses. You will be creating high end solutions for major retail clients throughout the UK, attention to detail is paramount as is adhering to strict deadlines. Working alongside the pre-press team, you will be an important cog in ensuring designs and structures catch the eye once completed.
