Alvarez & Marsal's Transaction Advisory Group is looking for ambitious, commercial, analytical, and personable individuals to join its growing pan-European team in Birmingham as part of our Graduate Programme.
Throughout this three-year programme, we will support you in becoming a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and provide both the professional and personal development opportunities you need to grow into an experienced Financial Due Diligence (FDD) professional working with Private Equity and Corporate clients on UK, Cross-border and Global transactions.
On qualification you will be eligible to participate in our global secondment program. We are currently recruiting for our London and Birmingham offices for a September 2023 start date.

What you will be doing
From day one, you will be working as part of our pan European and global team on both buy and sell side FDD engagements. You will gain on the job experience in financial data analysis and evaluation of a targets underlying earnings, net debt and working capital. You will supplement the technical accounting knowledge gained in your ACA training with practical FDD skills and experience. Our hands on, senior led approach means you will gain direct exposure to our Managing Directors and Senior Directors daily.
Requirements and qualifications
Eligibility to work in the UK
2:1 or higher undergraduate degree
A-level ABB (or equivalent)
Business level English is a pre-requisite and any other European
Evidence of significant non-academic achievements
IT skills - proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level.
Relevant work experience preferred but not a necessity
