Account Manager - Out of Home Channel
Field based with travel to Gatwick 1-2 days per week
Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience + car + potential bonus + other fantastic benefits

Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Out of Home (OOH) team here at Nestlé Professional as an Account Manager on the Workplace team. This role will be focused on growing our Beverage, Food & Branded Deserts portfolio, particularly with our largest contract catering customers whilst also winning new contract catering customers outside of our existing ledger. It will also provide an opportunity to work as part of a team on strategic, channel development projects. We are looking for somebody with experience of the OOH channel and managing Contract Caterers.

Nestlé Professional (NP) is our Business-to-Business food service arm, which specialises in the OOH solutions market. NP operates successfully in an enormous marketplace and is an ambitious growth driver for Nestlé. The team’s aim is to inspire growth in our partners, by providing branded, creative solutions that help our customers develop their business, ultimately driving footfall and increasing their profit.
A day in the life of an Account Manager …
You will be responsible for owning and growing a key relationship with one of our biggest contract catering customers, as well as identifying other opportunities with new customers. This role is a unique opportunity to drive the strategic development of the plant-based category in the channel whilst combing large customer management with new business development. It also offers the opportunity to play a leading role in delivering the team’s ambitious growth plans.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Management and responsibility for the customer P&L, including driving sales revenue (NPS & NNS).
- Driving activation, menu listings, distribution, penetration and new customer acquisitions.
- Creating joint business plans and contracts with customers which deliver profitable sales growth.
- Management of customer budgets and all associated spend and investment.
- Management of all internal steps to deliver on customer expectations and our own targets.
- Building great, successful relationships through effective stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
- Monitoring and analysing customer performance, as well as using category data and insight to identify trends to accurately forecast business performance and grow sales.
- Working with the team and the wider business to develop plans, strategies and tactics to grow the plant-based food business across the channel as a whole, both for the short and longer term
What will make you successful?
You will have already demonstrated successful performance within sales, ideally with some knowledge of marketing and strategic planning too. You will have experience in the OOH channel and managing Contract Caterers. It’s important that you show us you are your passionate about building high value customer relationships, able to demonstrate great commercial acumen and have a real focus on delivering results. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of complex negotiations which has resulted in securing large contracts and winning new business - Coupled with your ability to think strategically and influence a range of people, both internally and externally.
You will work with, and have the support of, a passionate and motivated team and will have the opportunity to develop critical experiences which will enable you to accelerate your commercial career towards potential further senior level opportunities in the future.
