You Will Be Part of a Growing Team
As a Corteva Intern, you will get EMEA regional exposure and interact with other interns in the region.
The main goal is to provide you with a quality learning experience. In turn, our interns will lend their expertise from various fields to our mission as an intern at Corteva. There will be opportunity to work alongside our Field Scientists to implement, evaluate, and report critical field and/or glasshouse-based research. It is expected that this internship will allow you to learn and develop new skills such as trial establishment, agronomy, inoculation techniques and glass house-based research of candidate molecules. You will also interact with Principal Biologists, Global and Zonal Biology Leaders, our commercial teams, and senior leaders.
Your Challenge:
- Understanding the project aims of Corteva trial programmes
- Establishment of crop protection, seed applied technology and biological field trials including assisting with applications
- Learning critical assessment techniques and agronomy
- Conducting lab and glass house-based research to support our development pipeline
- Helping with PACTS maize trials – planting, analysis, demonstrating.
- Use of statistical packages and tailored analysis software

Location: E-AME: Wellesbourne, Warwickshire based at our Global Field Research Centre with some UK travel for regional support
Duration: 6 months from March – September 2023.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- You are currently pursuing a recognized educational programme in a field related to Corteva’s activities, leading to a formal undergraduate or post-graduate qualification/degree; or you have completed your qualification/degree within a twelve-month period at the time of application.
- You are fluent in English, Corteva’s working language.
- You have not previously participated in an internship at Corteva
- A base level understanding of agronomy and or pest management would be an advantage
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Technical knowledge of products/markets and market concepts
- Statistical awareness
- Good communication skills, and IT proficiency
- Ability to work safely in a team environment as well as using own initiative.
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude with respect to working outdoors in a range of weather.
